We would suggest around 12 months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to choose a wedding dress which is perfect for you, without any pressure. It is important to secure your venue first and have a confirmed date, this way we know what timeframe we are working towards.

Yes – please do! We encourage all of our brides to take selfies and photos. You will then have these to look back on later.

If it is one of our selected dresses and it is on our website, we will stock it. If you let us know prior to your appointment, we will have it ready for you to try on at your appointment. Please feel free to get in touch to check what size our sample is.

We stock a range of veils, headpieces, belts and accessories at De Medici. You are welcome to try these with our wedding dresses at your appointment. As these items do not take as long to be made and delivered, they can be ordered at the same time as your dress or at a later date. We also have a bespoke selection of beautiful garters which can be kept as a keepsake and are available to be taken home on the day.

Yes, of course you can! Some brides prefer to come alone to their appointment, whilst others to prefer to bring friends and/or family. Both of these are fine with us! If you are visiting with someone, we would recommend bringing someone whose opinion you value most. Wedding dress shopping is a very special occasion and your dress should reflect your style and personality. Who would you like to share this with? Whose opinion do you value and trust?

Yes – we will dress you! Don’t worry, we won’t send you off alone to struggle getting into a wedding dress. Will take the dresses you choose into our large luxurious dressing room and will put the dresses on you. This is done with the utmost privacy. Our sample wedding dresses are different sizes, and if the dress you are trying does not fit you perfectly, we will use clamps and pins to make it as perfect as we can.
